STEP2- Wait for the zip file to download.  Then unzip the file to a temp folder on your computer.  If you do not do this step, then the software will not install correctly into Windows.

STEP3- Now double click on the file called "setup.exe"

STEP4- Wait a few moments for WattsVIEW^TM software to install. 

STEP5- Launch the   program by clicking on your START button then going to the Wattsview-serial menu, then Wattsview-serial

STEP6- After WattsVIEW Serial^TM    launches it will scan for serial ports attempting to find what serial com ports are available on your machine. Then the results of the scan will be displayed in table form as shown below.  If you are test driving WattsVIEW^TM then you will want to click on the button labeled "Demo Mode".    You will then see the Volts, Amps, & Watts data coming in as if you really had WattsVIEW^TM  hooked up to a real current and voltage sensor.   

If you pick demo mode, the software will appear to be recording solar panel data, and wind turbine data.   This will allow you to see what the software looks like when it is hooked up to a sensor.

STEP7- Uninstall WattsVIEW^TM     by clicking on your start button, then going to your "Control Panel" .   Then choose the icon labeled "Add Remove Programs".    Then you will see the WattsVIEW^TM  Program showing up towards the end of the program list.    After you find it, click on the "Remove" option.    It will take about a minute for the program to uninstall.
